Preserving orchestral music in Fort Myers and enriching the cultural life of Southwest Florida
Support the Sound of Excellence
Live orchestral music is more than a performance—it is a vital expression of culture, connection, and community. Your support of the Fort Myers Philharmonic helps preserve the arts, sustain professional musicians, and ensure that world-class music remains accessible in Southwest Florida for generations to come. Every contribution strengthens our shared cultural legacy and allows the Philharmonic to continue inspiring, educating, and uniting our community through the power of music.

Important Information for Donors
The Fort Myers Philharmonic is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Due to the current high volume of nonprofit applications, the IRS is approximately 16 months behind in processing, and we anticipate receiving our official Letter of Determination in April 2027.
In the meantime, to ensure that all contributions remain fully tax-deductible, the Southwest Florida Symphony Endowment Foundation, Inc. is serving as our Fiscal Sponsor. The Foundation has been supporting the arts in our region since 2001. Charitable donations made to support the Fort Myers Philharmonic through the Foundation are income-tax deductible under Section 170(c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
